CTR-Remote, CTR-PC, and CTR-Rcvr were developed using protocol documents from Yaesu, Kenwood,
Icom, Elecraft and various web sources. These programs have been tested on the radios shown below.
As a general rule, most Kenwood and Icom HF radios use the same protocols so
even if your radio isn't shown below, it may still work. Yaesu reinvents the
wheel with every radio so if your radio isn't in the Yaesu list, chances are it
won't work. Let us know what you have and we'll try to add it.
As the list of users grows so will the list of supported radios. Here's where
we are now...
FT-757GXII (not the GX model)
FT-1000 Mark V
TS-680 (and 140)
NOTE: All Kenwood HF radios are supported. The list above is the
radios we have ID #'s for. If you connect to your radio and get an ID code
instead of a model (i.e. the name displayed in the Control tab is CTR: KW [id#]
instead of the model #), please send us the model # and the [id#] and we'll add
it to the program.
CTR-Rcvr and CTR-PCRcvr
are compatible with the Icom PCR100 and
PCR1000. The PCR1500 and PCR2500 radios are not
supported at this time.
CTR-Remote and CTR-PC
are compatible with most Icom radios using the CI-V interface, including
K2 and K2/100 - requires either the
KPA100 kit or KIO2 RS232 interface kit
